Web4 was originally founded in 1996 as Allegria Software, Inc. For over 8 years Allegria has been a leading provider of asynchronous desktop viewing of 2D and 3D documents and drawings and is the proud inventor of ForReview. Over the years Allegria has served over 1,200 clients with over 60,000 users worldwide. Allegria's prestigious client list includes industry giants such as Mercedes Benz, L3 Communications, BMW, EDS, General Motors, Boeing, Textron, Rolls Royce and many others serving discreet manufacturing, automotive, defense, aerospace and AEC markets. In April 2000 Allegria evolved into Web4 with the invention of eReview, a synchronous and asynchronous Web-based document centric collaboration environment.
